As I have been without a workshop for the last
year and a half I have not been making for a while. Recently however, I have
moved into a new property in Glossop which has a large garage which will be
converted into a brand new workshop! This will not be finished until the
latter part of this year but ready for me to start making sometime in early
2011 if all goes well. In the meantime come and visit me at the Chesterfield
Art Market on Friday 29th October (part of
the
Chesterfield Arts & Market Festival)

After a lot of stressful deliberation, I have
decided to up and move to Glossop in the foothills of the Peak District!
Unfortunately, trying to make a living from the pottery is proving to be
extremely difficult along with the present economic climate. I will be working
part time to help fund the pottery with the vision of eventually being able to
concentrate on the pottery full time in the future. The workshop is still in
mid Wales but will eventually will be situated nearer Glossop when suitable
premises are found. Work will be transported to the wild hills
of mid Wales and fired in the wood kiln for the foreseeable future.

Good News! After losing so many pots in the last
few firings, this latest firing is a resounding success. Many of the pots will
be going to the
Twenty Twenty gallery in Much Wenlock for a show running from
Saturday 14th to Tuesday 31st March. To see the fruits of my
labour click here
